Past Events
Altadena Heritage holds several events each year to celebrate our community and to inform members and other Altadenans of policy and environmental issues that affect us. The invitations to these events constitute a record of this work.
Annual Members’ Meeting and Holiday Celebration
Guests will be entertained by Robert S. Hilton and Breeze Smith, who perform improvisational music on an array of instruments, both conventional and unique. Robert plays creations of his own design, which he builds from repurposed materials, and Breeze is an expressive percussionist who can coax just the right sounds out of almost anything!

Limited seating is still available for AltaDitty, an evening of Altadena-related songs and poems performed by residents and fans … including you, if you’d like! This Altadena Heritage event will be curated and emceed by Altadena’s own Bill Burnett, singer/songwriter extraordinaire, who’s already assembled a stellar line-up of pros and amateurs to help us celebrate our community, and is looking to add more.
Spring Garden Celebration & Golden Poppy Awards 2016
A celebration of festive food, luscious libations, mellow music, captivating conviviality … and, of course, AH’s 2016 Golden Poppy Awards, which honor Altadena residents whose water-wise street-oriented gardens enhance our neighborhoods.
