Saturday, Oct. 22nd – From 9 to 10 am
Come celebrate the upgrading of this small Altadena park, and learn about plans to make it a more usable, waterwise, and place-making civic space!
Acting on encouragement from Supervisor Michael Antonovich’s office, park partners Altadena Heritage and Amigos de los Rios applied for and received Prop A (Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District) funding to improve the little park behind El Patron Restaurant on the southwest corner of Lake Avenue and Altadena Drive.
We’re now ready to break ground, and invite you to learn about these changes — and how you can get involved. Supervisor Antonovich and leaders from both organizations will share plans for the park, which include celebrating local history with new signage, and the addition of landscaping features to help prevent water run-off.
Join us for cake and coffee Saturday, October 22, at 9 am!
