June 21 @ 7pm – Third Thursday Program:
Climate Change Where We Are and What We Can Do

Dear Friends,

Returning to our Third Thursday series, Altadena Heritage will host Climate Change: Where We Are and What We Can Do. Carol Kravetz of the Citizens Climate Lobby is a dynamic speaker who will tell us how and why we are addicted to fossil fuels, the extreme weather events that continue to affect our Earth, and CCL’s solution plus other local actions that will help move us toward a fossil free environment. Carol will update us on what our LA County leaders are doing, and how we can do our part by taking practical steps both personally and at the legislative level.

Carol trained with Al Gore and his Climate Reality Project in 2013. After retiring from over 30 years in film and television production, she resolved to concentrate on stopping the use of fossil fuels. Carol gives climate presentations all around the LA basin, to curious adults, elementary school children, and high school and college students.

Join us and bring your questions Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Drive, Altadena. Refreshments will be provided.
