Altadena Heritage’s Tree Committee, with support from Southern California Edison, found homes for more trees to shade our town with this year’s tree giveaway — bringing the total over the past four years to 163! Committee member Lisa Heftman and chair Anne Chomyn led the effort to have Altadena designated as a “Tree City USA” in 2023. Other committee members are Janet Castro, Kathleen McDonnell, Kathy Musial, Mark Goldschmidt, Michele Zack, and Val Zavala.
