Celebrating the Garden: Altadena’s Golden Poppy
Altadena Heritage is ringing in spring with their annual Golden Poppy Awards and Spring Garden Celebration. The event honors Altadena residents “whose gardens beautify our neighborhoods.”
The event will be held in the garden of the Monterey Colonial-style estate designed by architect Robert H. Orr for Hulda Wilson of “ham family” fame during the Great Depression.
Good food, good drinks, live music, and bonhomie is on the schedule, Sunday, May 18th.
