Altadena Crosstown Pipeline Open Panel – AH Advocating for Positive Change

Forum Held on July 20, 2017 at the Community Center

Golden Poppy Awards
Over 100 people turned up for Altadena Heritage’s Third Thursday program on the proposed crosstown pipeline and its connection to sediment removal behind Devil’s Gate Dam — moderated by Larry Wilson of the Star News.

Because these projects are so important we welcomed Neighbors Building a Better Altadena and the Altadena Library as co-sponsors of this panel discussion. Both projects were initiated by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, and involve Pasadena.

The pipeline would transfer water from behind Devils Gate Dam across Altadena to Eaton Canyon for the purpose of infiltration into the Raymond Basin, traveling from Pasadena to Pasadena, across Altadena, if the Woodbury Road/New York Drive route is chosen.
